4 AM Wednesday Fourth of July 2012 in Nunhead Heights, England

Today is the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.

Today I profess my love for the Greatest Country in the World: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The Founding Fathers of America were all of British ancestry, and it was British ideas, ideals and laws, that formed the United States.

No other country has cleaved into so many independent and flourishing nations as Britain. Britain’s brother countries of America, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, are among the most democratic and the richest nations in the world.

What has Spain, France, or Portugal left with their colonies? Brazil, Argentina and Quebec – provocative-swim-wearers, meat-fingered footballers, minor-island invaders, and Celine Dion. Need I say more?

Britain knew it was too small to go it alone and divided itself into five countries. With this “stock split” shares rose in the British nation.

Today, on the Fourth of July, I shout: God Bless America, and God Bless Britain, too, my adopted home. Britain created the United States of America, the country that gave my family life.

  1. Brazil is now richer than Britain and soon than any European country. Still, people there enjoy life and look good. America is run by bankers and corporations. You might as well rip this declaration of independence, put down your pants and bend over.

    1. Thank you for reading my blog and commenting.

Brazil is lovely, at least from what I have seen on the internet!

Who knows what the future will bring – okay, we know what it will bring – death and destruction and fallen empires and then end of civilizations – but in the meantime, the average Brazilian makes 1/3rd the amount of the average Briton. And look at income figures for each of the Five Nations of Britain. All more than Brazil.

With love to Brazil and best of luck to them.
