Thursday 2PM September 10, 2015 Nunhead Heights

I have just confirmed twelve (12) dates at the Museum of Comedy’s Tommy Cooper Room for December.

I will be performing the same “Five Star” show I did in Edinburgh including the gags about Scotland and how hot festival venues are. It was called “Lewis Schaffer is Free until Famous, £5” but in London it will be called  “Lewis Schaffer is Free until Famous, £10” as we will be charging £10. Click here to get tickets.

This is my  first show with a narrative structure and some kind of moral lesson (along with jokes). Click here to read all the reviews.

Richard Stamp of FringeGuru wrote “Lewis Schaffer… is working towards something genuinely liberating: a masterful take-down of the whole concept of human beauty, with a reassuring message about body image on the side. ★★★★ (Four Stars)” Click here to read the review.

Claire Smith in The Scotsman wrote “This is one of the most brilliant and amazing comedy shows I have ever seen in my life… the show becomes a bizarre cross between performance art, a swingers’ party and a papal blessing. ★★★★★ (Five Stars)” Click here to read this review.

And FringeMonkey wrote “Lewis Schaffer: A clever, structured, coherent show from the Fringe’s most erratic performer. ★★★★ (Four Stars)”

The twelve (12) appearances at the Museum of Comedy mark the completion of my unique 45 city tour of the UK where I performed for free to large audiences in art centres and theatres. Venues included the Blackburn Empire, Blackpool Grand and Burnley Mechanics.

I also hold the record at the Leicester Square Theatre in London for the longest residency of a solo comic and I am the “star” of Nunhead American Radio on Resonance FM – now in its seventh year.

The Museum of Comedy is not only a beautiful venue for comedy but Tommy Cooper is my favourite British comic. He brought pathos to bathos and that is what I try to do with my shows.

This show (and it is a show as it has a beginning middle and an end) is the best comedy I have ever done and I believe it will be one of best comedy shows you will ever experience.
